TONE Scaffolding Services (Principle Contractor) for Wandsworth Council.
Cladding Replacement Works.

During preliminary stage meetings with the council and cladding sub-contractors, a design solution was sought to allow access for cladding contractors and materials to the full façade of Sudbury House. The main issue to overcome was the non-interruption of the busy South Side Shopping Centre directly below 2 elevations of the tower block.
Acting as Principle Designer under CDM2015 regulations, Interdisciplinary design meetings where held between TONE Scaffolding (Principle Contractor), Wandsworth Council Representatives, Maybe Bridges (providing supporting Truss work), Wentworth House (foundation design) and Transport for London.
The solution provided to use Layher System Scaffold supported on 2 elevations by a Maybe Bridge Structure and Towers with concrete foundations installed in 4 tower positions. Together, this mitigated any impact on the shopping centre below. The design included, Goods Hoist and Run Offs supported off Loading Gantries.
